About the Author
Twice named one of The Best Lawyers in America while struggling
silently with his drinking problem, Bert Pluymen successfully argued
a case in the United States Supreme Court at age 28 and served as co-counsel
in the trial over the legendary Estate of Howard Hughes.
Bert is an alumnus of Rice University and an honors graduate of the
University of Texas School of Law.
Bert no longer actively practices law. Instead, he assists men and women
in amicably settling their disputes through his work as a full-time
Mediator.
He is also writing another book and has fun on talk-radio as the humorous
host of the "Recovery Today Show.”
Bert resides in Austin, Texas with his young son.
